Empress Michiko presents Florence Nightingale award

TOKYO, Japan - Empress Michiko (R), honorary president of the Japanese Red Cross Society, awards a Florence Nightingale badge to Tokiko Saita, former board member of the Japan Nursing Association, for her contribution to nursing activities at a Tokyo hotel on Aug. 12. The badge is awarded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.
